March News from the Building Project

1. We have completed the initial phase of our Capital Campaign and exceeded our expectations. We have pledges for $2,150,000 and have already collected in excess of $500,000. Almost 200 families have made identifiable pledges, and many more are contributing by their donations to the monthly building fund collection. We are still receiving pledges and continue to reach out to parishioners who have not yet responded.
2. The Building Committee, Architect, and Civil Engineer are working with the Town of Hillsborough planning staff to meet all their requirements for the new building. There are some interesting and unique regulations in this jurisdiction that we are trying to address. It is taking longer than we anticipated but we are having fruitful discussions.
3. We have purchased used stained glass windows for the new church and are arranging for them to be restored to their former glory for their new home. This is a lengthy process. A few are still available for a memorial donation; if you would like to remember a loved one or celebrate an anniversary, the book of available windows is available in the Atrium or from Fr Ryan.
