AT HOLY FAMILY PARISH, THE REQUIREMENTS TO CELEBRATE THE SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM (IN ENGLISH) ARE:

  1. Provide your name, phone number, and email address to Bernadette Pavlis, Baptism Coordinator, by emailing bapavlis@gmail.com or by calling the Parish Office at 919-732-1030.
  2. Parents must be registered members of Holy Family Catholic Church, actively participating in the Parish for at least 2 months. Registration forms are available after Masses on Sunday, or in the Parish Office during office hours.
  3. A one-hour Baptismal Preparation Class is required. This class is held at the church for Parents and Godparents, and will be scheduled on an individual basis. Please bring a copy of the child’s Birth Certificate with you to the class.
  4. Children of ages 6 and older must be enrolled in Religious Education Classes. In this case, the child is also required to accompany the parents and godparents to the Baptismal Preparation Class.
  5. Godparents must have a letter of eligibility from their Pastor to certify their ability to serve in this role.
