Sacrament of Confirmation / Confirmación

Jesus-Christ-from-Hagia-Sophia-500This program is for high school students who are already baptized and have received First Reconciliation and First Communion. Confirmation preparation may begin in 9th grade. Students must complete two years of Confirmation preparation in order to be Confirmed. Preparation includes workshops, small classes, discussion groups, and social justice involvement.

Pre-Confirmation: 6th-12th grades who haven’t yet received First Communion

When: Sundays 1-2:15pm
Where: St. Francis Hall

Confirmation 1st Year Prep:

When: Sundays 3:30-4:45pm, followed by the 5pm bilingual Mass
Where: St. Francis Hall

Confirmation 2nd Year Prep:

When: Sundays 6:15-7:30pm, starting with the 5pm bilingual Mass
Where: St. Francis Hall

CORONA VIRUS UPDATE: We are currently suspending Faith Formation classes until at least May 1. In the meantime, we ask that students continue some formation at home. Please see the letter and home assignment below for your appropriate classes. Confirmation Interviews are still happening as scheduled remotely. Students are expected to keep their appointments.
