Holy Family Institute Curriculum Structure
Training for Institute classes is designed to be given in three levels:
LEVEL I: SACRED SCRIPTURES
Level I studies will include six courses based in the Sacred Scriptures where a catechist must learn the main topics of the Sacred Scriptures in the light of Christian Catholic mentality presented in your course syllabus. There will be two bibles as main materials for this study: The Catholic Study Bible, 3rd edition – New American Bible revised edition for English speakers and Biblia Latinoamerica for Spanish speakers (any edition but preference edicion revisada 2005.)
LEVEL II: CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH
Level II studies will include four parts of the Catechism with six courses for each part of it. One course per month, self-study, with a final test at the end of it. A Catechist or parishioner will learn the main doctrine of the Christian Catholic faith according to the document promulgated in 1992 by Pope John Paul II, the Catechist of the Catholic Church. Any CCC edition is accepted because we follow the numerical paragraph order.

Level III: Practical and Pastoral Theology
Catechist or parishioner will be able to know basic Catholic theology and communicate God’s teaching through theological thoughts and words by their own experience of faith in life.
