Share Your Talents with these Volunteer Opportunities in the Department of Faith Formation

Enrich your spiritual life by getting involved in the Church by volunteering with the Department of Faith Formation. There are opportunities for any interest, comfort level, and time commitments. Contact Deacon Benny to find the right fit for you. Days and times are flexible for your schedule. In giving your time to others, you are giving your time to God.

Teaching Opportunities

Become a catechist to teach our young people and adults interested in Catholicism, one of the most important discipleships. Join us in sharing your faith in Jesus Christ. Our teams of elementary, middle school, junior high, high school, adults, and first holy communion and confirmation candidates need teachers for next year. Bilingual catechists are especially needed.

Volunteer College Professor

The Faith Formation Office is looking for a parishioner(s) who is a college professor and would like to share her/his academic knowledge to improve the new Holy Family Institute, which will train catechists of our parish.

Office Assistance

Help with typing, filing, making copies for classes, emailing and making phone calls, any day of the week. We would like a volunteer to help two hours per week. Must be familiar with MS Office, computer data entry, and proficient in English composition.

Retreat Assistants

Support our Faith Formation Catechists on Saturday or Sunday retreats scheduled periodically throughout the year by providing supervision, guiding activities, and participating in service projects.

Child Care During Classes and Retreats

Many parents have multiple children and need help with child care at the Church in order to stay focused during meetings. If you love playing with children, this might be ideal for you.

Liturgy Ministry

Serve during Mass as an alter server, Eucharistic minister, or usher.

Media Communications Ministry

Spread the word about Faith Formation and Parish events and activities, take photos to document the many things we do as a Parish, and keep online and social media info updated.
