Reverend Mark J. Betti, Pastor

After graduation from Parma Senior High in 1981 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy as an Electrician’s Mate. Following an Honorable Discharge in 1986, he moved back to Cleveland to begin his studies for the priesthood.
Mark graduated from Borromeo College of Ohio in 1991 with a double major in Philosophy and Psychology and a double minor in French and Spanish.
Upon completion of two years of graduate work in theology, Mark moved to the Diocese of Raleigh in 1993 where he served one year at St. Raphael’s in Raleigh as a pastoral-year seminarian. Mark completed his seminary training at St. Meinrad in southern Indiana and was ordained to the priesthood in June, 1996. His assignments have been as follows:
- 1996-1998: St. Paul, New Bern (Parochial Vicar)
- 1998-1999: Good Shepherd, Hope Mills (Parochial Vicar)
- 1999-2000: St. Stephen, Sanford (Parochial Vicar)
- 2000-2004: St. John the Baptist, Roanoke Rapids (Pastor)
- 2004-2010: St. Bernadette, Fuquay-Varina (Pastor)
- 2010-2015: Immaculate Conception, Clinton (Pastor)
- 2015-present: Holy Family, Hillsborough (Pastor)
Mark’s parents still live in Cleveland. He has one younger sister who is married and lives in Dayton, Ohio with her husband and two daughters.
Deacon Bert L’Homme
Email: email@example.comDeacon Bert was ordained by Bishop Joseph Gossman to the permanent diaconate on November 12, 2004. After ordination he was assigned to Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Louisburg and then he served at St. Francis deSales Church in Washington, DC.
For many years Deacon Bert has worked in parish and prison ministry in North Carolina and Washington, DC. Hearing the Lord’s call to ministry, he is anxious to share the good news of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
A native of Massachusetts, Deacon Bert earned undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Maryland at College Park as well as the American University in Washington, DC. He is a lifelong educator and administrator in the public, private, and Catholic schools.
Deacon Bert is married to Margaret Lee, they have three adult daughters and four grandsons.
Deacon Benny Yupanqui

He has been Ministering in several dioceses in Peru and in the United States in prisons and hospitals as clinical chaplain and as deacon in several churches. He graduated from archdiocesan mayor St. Carlos and St. Marcelo Seminary, John Paul II college, Pontifical University of Theology, Loyola University New Orleans and Duke University Medical Center in the disciplines of Philosophy, Theology, Religious Education, Clinical Chaplaincy, and Pastoral Studies/Counseling. Deacon Benny is a bi-ritual Catholic, Roman Catholic and Byzantine Catholic. He was ordained in Charlotte, NC on Oct 30th 2010 for St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Diocese, Parma, HO an Oriental Catholic Church in full communion with Holy See.
He is married to Kelly Geldres Yupanqui and has a nine year-old son named Emmanuel Francisco Yupanqui.
Deacon Benny is so happy to be the director of Faith Formation of Holy Family Catholic church in Hillsborough, NC. He really enjoys ministering a bilingual community, English and Spanish, in Faith formation. He also enjoys playing with children, gaming with youth, and listening to adult people. He is grateful to God and to the Community of Holy Family.
